Annals of Nanook

Our beloved and comedic William "Bill" Scott (a.k.a. Nanook) wrote much
during his six months at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Deploying WINFLY in
August 2003 and returning late February of 2004, Bill has left his friends
and family a series of emails and photos that are both amusing and
enlightening. Working for Raytheon Polar Services, which is contracted
through the National Science Foundation as an administrative assistant, his
work is not glorious, but this was not a journey for glory as much as it was
a glorious chance to discover new things. This blog is designed to thank him
for what he's shared with those of us back home and to share with the world
his insights and journey in to the frozen world at the bottom of earth.

Nanook Strikes again.
